Cape Brett Lighthouse stands at Cape Brett in the Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island, built in 1910 to mark this significant coastal point. The site was surveyed and selected in 1908 by Captain John Bollons of the surveying vessel NZGSS Hinemoa. At 4 metres in height, the modest structure operated with keepers until 1978, when it was deactivated and replaced by an automated beacon. The lighthouse and its associated structures are registered as a Category 1 Historic Place on the Heritage New Zealand list, a designation made official on 26 June 2009.
