The Chapel of the Resurrection, completed in 1956, stands as the centerpiece of Valparaiso University's campus in Valparaiso, Indiana. This modern structure dominates the landscape, occupying the highest point of the university grounds and remaining visible from U.S. Route 30 across the surrounding community. Its distinctive design features a circular chancel reaching 98 feet high, topped with a nine-pointed star-shaped roof, while the nave stretches 193 feet in length and rises 58 feet. With a flexible capacity of around 2,000, the chapel serves the university's Lutheran worship community alongside convocations, musical performances, and academic ceremonies. Adjacent to the chapel stands the Brandt Campanile, a 143-foot tower housing twelve bells, reinforcing the chapel's prominence as a Northwest Indiana landmark.
