The Charles Gurney Hotel is a three-story Richardsonian Romanesque Revival building completed in 1891 in Yankton, South Dakota. Designed by architect J.H. Coxhead, the structure was built of brick and Sioux Falls granite on the site of the original St. Charles Hotel, which had stood there since 1870. Originally called the Hotel Pierce, it was later renamed the Portland Hotel by owner Alfred Crebbin, likely honoring the region's Portland cement manufacturing. In the 1940s, Charles Gurney acquired and remodeled the building, giving it the name it retains today. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979.
