Cholmeley Lodge is a Grade II listed residential building in Highgate, London, designed by architect Guy Leslie Llewellyn Morgan and completed in 1934. This striking Art Deco and Streamline Moderne structure comprises a curved six-storey block of flats arranged in three concave curved sections spanning a thirty-foot radius, housing between 48 and 54 apartments. Named after Sir Roger Cholmeley, who owned the land until 1565, the building was originally proposed for Bournemouth seafront but rejected by the local council for its modernist design. Relocated to Highgate Hill, it replaced the Mermaid Inn, a former public house closed in 1679. The building's bold geometric form would later influence Morgan's design of the more celebrated Florin Court apartment block.
