The Christian Church of Gilroy, located at 160 5th Street in Gilroy, California, is a Greek Revival church built in 1857 for the local congregation of the Christian Church, also known as the Disciples of Christ. As the first congregation of any denomination in Gilroy and the first to construct its own dedicated church building, it became a cornerstone of the community's religious life. The rectangular, one-and-a-half-story structure features a prominent bell tower positioned over the northern entrance, decorated with louvered openings, corner pilasters, and a projecting cornice. The church gained regional significance in 1859 when it hosted the State Meeting of the Disciples of Christ, drawing approximately 1,000 attendees. Relocated several blocks to its present site in 1885, the building was recognized for its historical importance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
