The Christian F. Weinrich House, built around 1873 at 217 Opdyke Street in Chester, Illinois, blends Folk Victorian and Gothic Revival architectural styles. Commissioned by local merchant Christian F. Weinrich, who occupied the residence until his death in 1913, the house displays characteristic features of both traditions: a gable front plan with side gable, stickwork detailing on the front-facing gable, steep roof, and decorative wooden porch. Its intersecting gables represent a defining Gothic Revival element. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.
