The Claflin School is a historic brick schoolhouse in Newtonville, Massachusetts, built in 1891 and designed by architect Merrill J. Brown as a well-preserved example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. Rising 2½ stories, the building features a tall hip roof with projecting side-gabled wings and a prominent central gable section. Its symmetrical main facade displays brick quoining around windows and corners, with round-arch openings framing the entrances. Named for William Claflin, the structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and designated part of the Newtonville Historic District in 1986. The school later converted to artist studios and was adjacent to a small park.
