De Ferrari is a Genoa Metro station designed by architect Renzo Piano and completed in 2005. Located beneath Piazza De Ferrari in central Genoa, the station opened on 4 February 2005 and sits within a historic district close to the Teatro Carlo Felice, Galleria Mazzini, the Doge's Palace, and Via XX Settembre. Renzo Truffelli contributed finishing touches to Piano's design. Originally serving as the line's terminus, the station was succeeded as the final stop in 2012 when the metro was extended eastward toward Genova Brignole railway station.
