Darsena is an underground metro station in Genoa, Italy, designed by architect Renzo Piano and completed in 1998. Located on Via Antonio Gramsci near Piazza della Darsena, the station serves the city's historic port district, whose name—meaning "dock"—reflects its waterfront setting. The station is distinguished by a notably spacious and luminous mezzanine. Two exits provide access: one emerges onto the northern sidewalk, while the other opens toward the quayside beneath the elevated Strada Aldo Moro. The station officially opened to the public on July 25, 2003, with regular operations commencing on August 7 of that year.
