Located at 370 W. Del Mar Boulevard in Pasadena, the Dr. W. T. Bolton House is a 1906 Craftsman-style residence designed by the renowned Greene brothers, Charles and Henry Greene. Commissioned by Dr. W. T. and Alice Bolton as their second home by the architects, the house embodies core Craftsman principles through its emphasis on function over form, with exposed joints and beams throughout. Greene and Greene extended their design philosophy to every element—the hand-oiled wooden front door reveals its natural grain, while the light fixtures, stained glass windows, and furnishings were all designed by the brothers to achieve unified aesthetic coherence. Though Dr. Bolton died before occupying the house, Alice Bolton resided there until 1917. The home stands among the notable Craftsman residences of Pasadena's prestigious "Millionaire's Row" district near Orange Grove Boulevard, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
