Dubai Creek Tower is a proposed observation tower designed by Santiago Calatrava for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to be built on a waterfront site in Dubai Creek Harbour. Originally conceived to reach at least 1,300 metres (4,300 feet)—a height calibrated to a 13:8 golden ratio with the Burj Khalifa—the project's planned height was reduced in February 2024 to be lower than Dubai's existing tallest skyscraper. The design draws inspiration from Islamic architectural tradition, particularly minaret architecture, and distinguishes itself from conventional skyscrapers by featuring primarily observation decks and sky gardens rather than office floors, along with an antenna for broadcasting. The preliminary construction cost was estimated at AED 3.67 billion, with completion originally expected by 2021; however, work was suspended at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and remains on hold.
