Dykeland is a historic wood-frame house near Chula in Amelia County, Virginia, reflecting three distinct periods of construction and multiple architectural styles. The property comprises a two-story vernacular section built around 1838, an early-19th-century 1½-story rear wing, and a two-story Italianate addition from 1856–1857 featuring a hipped roof. A one-story Italianate-style porch serves to unify the various sections. The site also includes a contributing smokehouse and shed. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, Dykeland exemplifies the evolving tastes and building practices of its region across the nineteenth century.
