Folkoperan, located at Hornsgatan 72 in Stockholm's Södermalm district, is an opera house established in 1976. Operating as a nonprofit organization, it has become one of Stockholm's most successful opera venues by attendance and is regarded as Sweden's principal stage for freelance opera singers and musicians.
