Founders Tower, a 20-story Googie-style skyscraper completed in 1964, stands northwest of downtown Oklahoma City as one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. Rising 275 feet, the tower was originally constructed as an office building before being redeveloped into upscale residential units. Its top floor once housed 360, a revolving restaurant offering panoramic views of the city—the second such rotating restaurant in the nation when built, following the Space Needle. Though the restaurant no longer rotates, the building remains a distinctive presence on the skyline. It was designated to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
