The Manhattan Building, also known as the Phoenix Building, is a historic eight-story skyscraper in Muskogee, Oklahoma, completed in 1911 for the Manhattan Construction Company, reportedly Oklahoma's first incorporated business. Rising 107 feet and featuring 50,957 square feet of floor space, the structure exemplifies the Chicago School's influence through its Sullivanesque design, with a reinforced concrete frame clad in gray brick and extensive fenestration designed to maximize light and ventilation during hot Oklahoma summers. Its architectural hallmarks include two-story columns flanking the entrance and a second-floor cornice with dentils, while the interior features a two-story lobby with tile-lined walls. A rooftop penthouse was added in 1957. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 for its architectural significance and stands among five notable early skyscrapers built in Muskogee between 1910 and 1912.
