The Frank G. Ray House & Carriage House, located in Vinton, Iowa, is a Queen Anne residence built in 1890 for a local businessman associated with the Iowa Canning Company, then the largest corporation in Benton County. The 2½-story frame structure displays characteristic Queen Anne complexity, featuring a wraparound front porch, three decorative chimneys, a prominent three-story round tower, a porte-cochère, and small porches distributed across all stories. The accompanying carriage house, with its decorative shingles and irregular roofline crowned by a cupola and weather vane, complements the main residence. Both structures were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
