Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1917, the Frederick C. Bogk House in Milwaukee is a single-family residence built of brick that exemplifies Prairie School architecture. Commissioned by Frederick C. Bogk, an alderman and secretary-treasurer of the Ricketson Paint Works, the house embodies Wright's characteristic prairie style elements within a solid, fortress-like form that conveys an impression of impregnability. The house is listed in both the Wisconsin State Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places.
