Located along the south shore of Lake Eleanor in the remote northeast section of Yosemite National Park, the Frog Creek Cabin is a one-story frame dwelling built in 1936 in the National Park Service Rustic style. Measuring approximately 14 by 28 feet, the modest structure features a small screened porch extending some 13 by 4 feet. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014, the cabin sits on a 2.35-acre parcel that also includes the ruins of a 1934-built trout egg-collecting station associated with Frog Creek, a remnant of the park's early management infrastructure.
