The Fullerton Post Office, also known as Commonwealth Station, is a Mission Revival structure completed in 1939 by the Works Progress Administration in Orange County, Southern California. Built at the southeast corner of South Pomona Avenue and East Commonwealth Avenue, this one-story, rectangular building sits elevated on a raised platform with six steps leading to the public entrance. Construction took less than seven months and cost $56,000; the building was dedicated on November 1, 1938. A notable interior feature is Paul Julian's mural above the superintendent's office door, depicting Fullerton High School students picking oranges. The facility includes a loading dock for mail service and has continuously operated as a post office since opening, serving downtown Fullerton's residents and businesses. Its location near the Fullerton Transportation Center enhances its accessibility, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
