The US Post Office in Frankfort, New York, is a one-story Colonial Revival structure completed in 1940–1941 by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department under Louis A. Simon. Built on a raised foundation with a steel frame, the five-bay building features a three-bay central pavilion crowned by a slate-covered hipped roof. Its interior is distinguished by a 1942 wood relief titled "Growth" by artist Albert Wein. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, it exemplifies the government's post-Depression commitment to functional yet architecturally refined public buildings.
