Galaxy SOHO is a sprawling urban complex in Beijing's Chaoyangmen Subdistrict, completed in 2012 by renowned Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. The first of three Hadid-designed buildings in the city, it comprises four asymmetric continuous structures unified by a signature curvilinear form, covering 330,000 square meters. The parametric design draws inspiration from classical Chinese courtyards, while the complex itself houses a mixed-use program of retail shops, offices, and entertainment facilities, occupying a prominent position at the southwest corner of Chaoyangmen Bridge on Beijing's Second Ring Road.
