Haddo House, a Scottish stately home near Tarves in Aberdeenshire roughly 20 miles north of Aberdeen, exemplifies the Palladian style as designed by architect William Adam and completed in 1732. Built as the seat of the Earls and Marquesses of Aberdeen and Temair, it represents a significant example of early eighteenth-century Scottish country house design. The house has been owned by the National Trust for Scotland since 1979 and is listed as a category A building.
