Harlaxton Manor is a Victorian country house in Harlaxton, Lincolnshire, built for Gregory Gregory, a local squire and businessman, who engaged three of Victorian England's leading architects—Anthony Salvin, William Burn, and Edward Blore—in its construction. The house is distinguished by its Jacobethan style, which uniquely combines Jacobean and Elizabethan elements with Baroque decoration, setting it apart among comparable English houses. Grade I listed and part of a Grade II* registered historic park and garden, Harlaxton Manor now serves as the British campus of the University of Evansville.
