The Harold Lloyd Estate, known as Greenacres, is a sprawling Spanish Colonial, Renaissance, and Mediterranean Revival mansion located in the Benedict Canyon section of Beverly Hills, California. Built in the late 1920s by silent film star Harold Lloyd, the original 44-room residence sat atop its own hill commanding 15 acres that featured a golf course, outbuildings, and a 900-foot canoe run—features that earned the estate recognition as "the most impressive movie star's estate ever created." Lloyd occupied the home until his death in 1971. Following the subdivision of the lower acreage, the mansion retained approximately five original acres. The estate was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and is designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
