The Hassan Bek Mosque, completed between 1916 and 1923, stands at the northern edge of Jaffa in Tel Aviv, Israel. Built in Ottoman style, its traditional Islamic architecture creates a striking contrast with the modern high-rises that surround it. Situated between the Neve Tzedek neighbourhood and the Mediterranean Sea on the road to Jaffa, the mosque's history is closely intertwined with the Arab–Jewish conflict in the region.
