Honda Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Anaheim, California, designed by Populous and opened on June 17, 1993, at a cost of $123 million. Home to the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League, the venue has carried several names throughout its history: originally the Anaheim Arena during construction, then the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim after Arrowhead Water secured naming rights in 1993, and finally Honda Center following Honda's acquisition of naming rights in 2006. For ice hockey games, it is colloquially known as "The Pond at Honda Center."
