Opened in 1946 in the exclusive Bel-Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, the Hotel Bel-Air is a Mission Revival boutique hotel set within 12 acres of manicured gardens. The property comprises 103 rooms, including 45 suites, designed in an old Hollywood aesthetic that has long appealed to cinema's elite. Now part of the Dorchester Collection (owned by Brunei's Investment Agency), the hotel counted among its storied guests Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland, and Paul Newman. The hotel is notably remembered as the location of Marilyn Monroe's final Vogue magazine shoot, conducted six weeks before her death.
