The Hoyt-Shedd Estate in Lowell, Massachusetts comprises two substantial Stick style mansions built circa 1873 at 386 and 396 Andover Street, designed by the same architect for business partners E. W. Hoyt and F. B. Shedd, who accumulated their wealth through the perfume trade. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and later incorporated into the Andover Street Historic District in 2000, the paired houses represent a notable example of late-nineteenth-century residential architecture built by successful industrial entrepreneurs.
