The IOOF Building, constructed in 1886 in Maquoketa, Iowa, is a three-story Late Victorian brick structure notable for its decorative use of light cream-colored brick highlighting the window surrounds, the band between the second and third floors, and the cornice. Originally designed to serve mixed commercial and civic purposes, the basement accommodated a barber shop while the main level hosted various retail businesses; the upper floors were reserved for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows as their clubhouse. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, it remains a distinctive example of brick-based architecture in the town's central business district.
