The James Ormond Wilson Normal School, located at 1100 Harvard Street NW in Washington, D.C., is a Jacobethan brick structure completed in 1912 by city architect Snowden Ashford. Originally founded in 1873 as the Washington Normal School and renamed in 1913 for the city's first superintendent of schools, the institution trained teachers until 1955, when it merged with Miner Normal School to form the District of Columbia Teachers College. The distinctive red-brick building, trimmed in limestone, exemplifies early-twentieth-century institutional design and now houses one of the campuses of Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
