Built in 1932 for Company E, 174th Infantry Brigade, the Jamestown Armory in Chautauqua County, New York, exemplifies the Tudor Revival style favored for civic and military structures of the era. Designed by State architect William Haugaard, it comprises a Tudor Revival administration building paired with an attached drill shed—one of twelve surviving armories Haugaard designed throughout New York. The building was recognized for its architectural and historical significance when listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
