The John and Philomena Sand Zimmerer House, a Jacobethan residence built in 1919 in Seward, Nebraska, was constructed for John Zimmerer, a prominent local businessman who owned a hardware store, served as president of the First National Bank of Seward, and co-founded the Seward Equitable Savings and Loan Association. Designed in the Jacobean Revival style, the house reflects the architectural tastes of early twentieth-century American prosperity. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 25, 1993.
