The John Copas House is a Queen Anne style residence in the unincorporated community of Copas, Minnesota, built around 1880 by Italian immigrant John Copas. Constructed to enlarge or replace an earlier dwelling on property settled in the early 1850s, the house reflects both the architectural tastes of the era and the prominence of its owner, who became a leading figure in the community platted in 1857 and subsequently named after him. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, it is recognized for its local significance in architecture and in the history of exploration and settlement in the region.
