The John Jones House, located at 1 Winthrop Street in Stoneham, Massachusetts, is a well-preserved two-story wood-frame residence built in 1874. Displaying classic yet modest Italianate features with Renaissance Revival elements, the structure is finished in clapboards and topped with a side-gable roof punctuated by twin interior chimneys. Its three-bay front façade is distinguished by bay windows flanking a center entry sheltered beneath a porch connected to the bay roofs. The house was built for John Jones, a shoemaker, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
