The Lake-Side Terrace Apartments, located at 7425-7427 South Shore Drive in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood, is a four-story brick apartment building designed by architect Eric Edwin Hall and completed in 1922–23. A fine example of the courtyard apartment style that flourished in early twentieth-century Chicago, the building takes distinctive advantage of its lakeside setting: its courtyard opens toward Lake Michigan and is elevated to maximize views of the water. The Tudor Revival structure features limestone entrance and window surrounds, Tudor arched entries to the courtyard, and a battlement capping the roofline. It was recognized as a historic place on the National Register in 1984.
