The Lensic Theater, an 821-seat performing arts venue located at 211 West San Francisco Street in Santa Fe, New Mexico, opened on June 24, 1931. Designed by the prolific Kansas City firm Boller Brothers—renowned for nearly one hundred theaters across the West and Midwest—the building exemplifies a distinctive blend of Moorish Revival and Spanish Renaissance styles. Built by Nathan Salmon and E. John Greer, the theater's name derives from the initials of Greer's six grandchildren. Following a comprehensive restoration and renovation between 1999 and 2001, the Lensic has served as a modern venue for performing arts in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico.
