Demolished or destroyed.
The Leopoldstädter Tempel was a Moorish Revival synagogue designed by Ludwig Förster and completed in 1858 in Vienna's Leopoldstadt district. Located on Tempelgasse 5, the building served as a congregation and prayer house for the city's Jewish community until its destruction during Kristallnacht in 1938. A monument now marks the site of the demolished structure, which remains a listed heritage object in Austria.
