Lindisfarne Castle is a 16th-century fortress on Holy Island near Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland, England, accessible from the mainland by causeway at low tide. Built in 1550, the castle was substantially remodeled by architect Edwin Lutyens in 1901, transforming it into a historic house. Now a Grade I listed building, it stands as both a testament to Tudor military architecture and an example of early 20th-century country house design.
