The Lizard Lighthouse, built in 1751 at Lizard Point in Landewednack, Cornwall, stands 19 metres tall and served as a guiding beacon for vessels navigating the English Channel. Its reflected light could be seen up to 100 miles away on clear nights, making it a welcoming landmark for those returning to England. Now Grade II listed, the structure remains an important historical monument on the Cornish coast.
