Designed by Paul Rudolph in 1972, the Louis Micheels House in Westport, Connecticut, was a single-family residence exemplifying the Sarasota School of Architecture's modernist principles. Rudolph, founder of that influential movement, created a work that synthesized Modern and Brutalist aesthetics in its architectural language. The house stood until its demolition in 2007.
