The Loussac–Sogn Building, a three-story Moderne structure completed in 1947 at 429 D Street in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, stands as one of the city's oldest surviving examples of the style. Designed by Manley & Mayer and planned by Zachariah J. Loussac and Dr. Harold Sogn, the building originally developed from a modest concept for Sogn's medical practice into a more ambitious commercial and office complex. Its street-level storefronts and upper-floor offices occupy a prominent corner site along 5th Avenue, with the main entrance distinguished by a polished stone surround. Green tile sheathes the base to the storefront windows, while concrete comprises most of the façade. Upon completion, it was the largest office building in Anchorage. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
