Built in 1934 in Glacier National Park, the Many Glacier Campground Camptender's Cabin exemplifies the National Park Service Rustic architectural style. Sited two miles west of the Many Glacier Hotel amid heavy timber, this single-story rectangular structure features exposed-log framing with vertical-plank siding and rests on a concrete-pier foundation. A log-frame side-gable roof clad in wood shingles, with exposed pole purlins and rafters, rises to a stone chimney at the ridge. A coursed-stone stoop provides entry to the offset vertical-plank door on the north elevation, while grouped casement windows—either 6 or 4-light—punctuate the facades. The cabin's modest, functional design reflects its role as a camptender's workspace and its significance to early automobile camping patterns and NPS park infrastructure.
