A historic commercial building in Indianapolis, Marott's Shoes Building rises seven stories and displays the hybrid architectural vocabulary of its era—Tudor Revival ornamentation married to Chicago School design principles. Constructed in 1899–1900, it is clad in white terra cotta and features the characteristic large window openings of the Chicago style on its upper floors, while its crown showcases Tudor arched windows beneath a crenellated parapet. The rectangular four-bay structure stands in the Washington Street–Monument Circle Historic District, adjacent to the Lombard Building. It was designated to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
