The Michael D. Helfrich House is a two-story Prairie School residence built in 1920 in Evansville, Indiana, designed by the architectural firm Clifford Shopbell & Co. Clad in brown brick and limestone, the house exemplifies the Prairie School style through its complex arrangement of interlocking masses, distinctive art glass windows, corner piers, a massive brick chimney, and a porte cochere. The residence was recognized for its historical significance when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
