Located in the Lynnhurst neighborhood of Minneapolis, southeast of Lake Harriet, the Charles and Grace Parker House exemplifies Prairie School architecture through its design by Purcell, Feick & Elmslie. The single-family home features hallmark elements of the style, including a broad gabled roof and carefully composed window groupings, alongside a side porch and distinctive entry detailing. The entrance showcases a fretsawn arch and frieze above the door, flanked by beams and pendants on either side. George Grant Elmslie designed the leaded glass windows that punctuate the façade. Architecture critic Larry Millett has called it one of Purcell and Elmslie's greatest houses. The home was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
