MO Museum is a modern art museum in Vilnius, Lithuania, designed by Daniel Libeskind in collaboration with Do Architects studio and opened to the public on 18 October 2018. Built as a private initiative by Lithuanian scientists and philanthropists Danguolė Butkienė and Viktoras Butkus, the museum houses a collection of 6,000 modern and contemporary artworks, with major pieces spanning Lithuanian art from the 1950s to the present day. The building, which stands 17 meters tall with a floor area of 3,100 square meters, features a spiral staircase employing the circular form—notable as Libeskind's first use of this geometric principle. Though among his smallest projects, Libeskind identified it as one of his personal favorites. The museum hosts exhibitions, film screenings, educational workshops, concerts, and cultural events for diverse audiences, and has been recognized by Italian news agency ANSA among the top ten twenty-first-century museums to visit.
