The Murray D. Lincoln Campus Center is a high-rise Brutalist tower on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus, completed in 1970 and designed by modernist architect Marcel Breuer. The concrete structure, accompanied by an attached parking garage, was named after Murray D. Lincoln, a cooperative movement leader and founder of Nationwide Insurance who also co-founded CARE. The building houses the 116-room Hotel UMass on its third through seventh floors, which underwent renovation between 2008 and 2009 by Springfield-based Eastern General Contractors under the direction of the architectural firm Gensler.
