Designed by Daniel Libeskind and completed in 2021, the National Holocaust Names Memorial in Amsterdam serves as the Dutch national monument to Holocaust victims and the Porajmos. Located in the former Jewish quarter along Weesperstraat, the memorial commemorates approximately 102,000 Jewish victims from the Netherlands who were deported and murdered during the Nazi occupation (1940–1945), primarily at Auschwitz and Sobibor, as well as 220 Roma and Sinti victims. Founded by the Nederlands Auschwitz Comité, the memorial occupies a north–south strip bounded by Nieuwe Herengracht, Weesperstraat, Nieuwe Keizersgracht, and the Amstel river.
