NEMO Science Museum, housed in a building designed by Renzo Piano since 1997, is a science center located on Oosterdokseiland in Amsterdam's Centrum district. Taking its name from the Latin word for "Nobody," the museum traces its origins to 1923 and has grown into the largest science center in the Netherlands. Five floors of hands-on exhibitions engage visitors with interactive science displays, drawing approximately 728,000 visitors annually—making it the seventh most visited museum in the country.
