Nissan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, designed by Populous and completed in 1999 on the east bank of the Cumberland River. Home to the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League and Tennessee State University's Tigers, the stadium holds 69,143 spectators across three levels of seating arranged around a central field and dual towers flanking each sideline. Since its inaugural regular-season game on September 12, 1999—a 36–35 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals—it has hosted the Music City Bowl each December, concerts associated with the CMA Music Festival, and other major events. The facility features luxury suites distributed across its twin towers, video boards positioned behind each end zone, and a playing surface converted to Matrix Helix Turf in 2023, replacing the previous natural Tifsport Bermuda grass. Owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, the stadium previously operated under the names Adelphia Coliseum, The Coliseum, and LP Field before adopting its current corporate designation in 2015.
